“Conditions change. Magic Baits’ results don’t.”
Winnie Dreyer
Even though there were clear signs of spawning activity in the water, I still managed to catch really well.

The carp were active in the shallows, but thanks to my trusted combination, I landed one fish after another.

Once again, I used the BGA Liquid Carp Food Feed Booster — and I have to say, this stuff never disappoints! Even in tricky conditions like now at the Vaaldam, it still produces great results. The scent (Food Signal) spreads beautifully through the water and keeps the carp feeding in the area for longer.

As for my bait, it couldn’t have been easier or more convenient. I used Magic Baits Yellow Sweetdough — a ready-made dough that’s perfect for quick sessions. It’s pocket-sized, comes in a handy plastic container that lasts for months in your tackle box, and you don’t even need to add water or mix it.

Just open, press it around the hook, and you’re ready for the next bite and paired it with Monster Carp Hard Floaties and a Monster Carp Boldip on the ball. The combo worked like pure Magic!

Each cast delivered steady bites, showing once again that when you match easy-to-use, preserved dough with proven flavours like Monster Carp, the results speak for themselves.

The combination of Barbie Doll Muti and Swiss Boldip worked especially well, paired with Barbie Doll Floaties as the hookbait.

The colour and flavour matched perfectly, and together with the BGA feed booster, it created that extra attraction needed to trigger bites, even under tough conditions.

Even with the carp busy spawning, the right choice of flavour and bait once again proved why Magic Baits remains my number one choice.
