After the successful trial of the new H.E.P test product last weekend, I was eager to return to the Bank. This time, I chose to try the HEP, Gritty Granadilla flavor, which had piqued my interest.
I could easily see this flavor becoming a significant player in my Spring fishing adventures, so I simply had to give it a try.
Unsurprisingly, the flavor and product exceeded all expectations.
For my first rod, I coated some critically balanced double tigers and presented them using a Slip-D rig.
For my second rod, I used yellow mielies from the feed, balancing them with high-density foam, also presented with a Slip-D rig.
The weather conditions were challenging, with 19 km/h winds and gusts up to 50 km/h, which made it difficult to capture photos of each catch.
Our main focus was on efficiently placing the rigs after every successful catch, prioritizing safety.
Our strategy was to take advantage of moments when the wind calmed down to drop our rigs.
As always, Magic Baits delivered outstanding results.

Successful trip with SloLeak, HEP Powder and Bloekom Heuning Sluggers
At the Vaaldam in Oranjeville, SlowLeak and H.E.P have proven to be highly effective!
During my fishing trip, I decided to test these products, and the results were impressive.
I fished with 2 x Bloekom Heuning Sluggers complemented by a small piece of white dough and backed with a Honey Glow Chooby.
The Carp were clearly attracted to this combination.
For my Heavyweight Feed ball, I relied on the irresistible flavors of Honeycomb SlowLeak and Yellow Navigator.

Johan Oosthuizen recently shared his second impressive catch from a specimen fishing trip on the Vaal River, just outside of Parys.
During this outing, he used a hair rig with two Honey Glow Mealies as bait, which he enhanced by coating it in Honey Comb HEP powder. Additionally, he prepared a PVA bag infused with Honey Comb SloLeak Magic Potion for even better results.

Johan Oosthuizen ventured to the Vaal River, located just outside Parys on the Free State side, for some specimen angling.
He baited up with Honey Glow Mealies on a hair rig that was coated with Honey Comb HEP powder (Test Product).
To enhance his baiting technique, he used a PVA bag, which he coated with SlowLeak Honey Comb.

On Saturday afternoon, I ventured to the chilly banks of the Vaalriver, eager to catch some fish.
Upon my arrival, I noticed that the fish were particularly active, around 40 meters in front of me.
Wasting no time, I quickly mixed my Heavyweight popcorn Feed with a hint of C.S Liquid Carp Food Feed Booster, which I believed would give me an advantage.
For my hook baits, I opted for a simple approach: a plain hard floater dipped in Rich Corn HEP, ensuring that my bait was bursting with flavor and irresistible to the carp in the Vaalriver.
My efforts were rewarded in the early morning hours with a stunning mirror carp, followed by another beautiful common carp shortly after.

During a recent visit to my favorite fishing spot along the Vaal River, just outside Parys, I had the pleasure of using SloLeak Magic Potions alongside a new product, HEP.
As is my custom, I combined Magic Baits Heavyweight feed with Popcorn Feed for optimal results.
For my bait setup, I used a trimmed Banana X Mealie paired with two Banana X Bleeding Floaties.
I also dipped the hookbait in Banana Jamaica HEP Powder.
To enhance the attraction further, I spread a generous amount of Banana Jamaica SloLeak Magic Potion on the bait ball before casting.

For bait, we used a combination of Magic Baits’ Popcorn fine feed mixed with Heavyweight feed.
Additionally, a cut mealie pip was employed, paired with a bleeding Vampire floatie and Vampire instant dough, which was dipped in Wild Garlic HEP powder (a test product).
