Welcome to River Run Resort, your ultimate destination for family camping, long-term stays, and exclusive venue hire. Nestled on the banks of the Vaal River within the stunning Vredefort Dome — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — our resort provides an enchanting and unique setting for private events.

We offer general family camping on a first-come, first-served basis, with a minimum stay of 2 nights per campsite for the duration. Please note that bookings must be made at least a month in advance.

Upon arrival, guests are required to make payments at the gate before proceeding to an available camping site, as no reserved spots are allocated.

Conveniently located near Parys, our resort is enveloped by nature’s splendor, ensuring complete privacy, spacious grounds, and modern amenities for your special occasions.

For those wishing to book accommodations such as our Double Deluxe Tents (sleeping 6 with private bathroom), the Farm House Stay (a private house sleeping 6 with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and a swimming pool), the 6-sleeper unit (with its own bathroom and braai area on the river), or the Fish Eagle Tents (accommodating 4 on the river with a braai area), please ensure that these reservations are made a month in advance and include full payment.

For any inquiries, do not hesitate to call us. Important: The gate closes at 9 p.m., and no one will be permitted to enter the resort after that time.
