Rooibult is a well-known fishing spot on the eastern shore of the Vaal Dam, situated near Deneysville, approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes from Benoni.  Also referred to as Erasmus or Rooiwalle, this area is popular among anglers for its serene environment and diverse fish species.
