Struisbult Dam, also known as Vogelstruisbult, is located between Springs and Nigel.

It is accessible to the public, and no prior bookings are necessary for fishing. However, please note that there are no facilities at the dam, so visitors should bring all necessary supplies with them.

The nearest shop is a Spar in Selcourt Springs, about 7 km away. If you plan to camp for 2-3 days, I highly recommend going with a group of at least four people.

You are permitted to bring your bait boat and rubber duck equipped with a trolling motor, but it is mandatory to wear a safety vest while using them.
