The Lake-house cabin is situated on the banks of the Olifants River leading into the Witbank dam. We are in a secure wild life estate where zebra, buck and giraffe roam freely. The estate has two restaurants and both have swimming facilities. The cabin is one bedroom ( King size bed) 1 bathroom with an additional queen size Murphy bed in an open plan area. It comfortably sleeps four people. The main bedroom has a fire place and an inverter aircon. Directly outside the cabin is a huge jetty that floats on the water. The jetty has a few loungers, table and chairs and a big boma with a braai grid.  You can fish directly from the jetty or on both sides of the cabin.  This is your own private area for fishing and isn’t shared with anyone else. The cabin is solar powered and comes with uncapped WiFi, tv, all kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher, bedding, two plate stove/oven, kettle, toaster and electric frying pan. If you have a boat, you will have a boat launching facility on the property. If you don’t have a boat you will have access to out fishing kayak.  I have an additional Weber braai outside.

Our Waters

Witbank Dam lies in one of the Big Fish Wild waters of South Africa. Witbank Dam is well known for its clean water which holds a healthy population of Carp, Bass, and Barbel and the dam has produced excellent catches of very big Carp, Barbel and  Bass catches.
