Club Amigos Holiday Resort offers the following facilities:
1. Pensioner Midweek R880 + R35 Alloutbookings admin fee (arrive on Sunday and depart on Friday) power included
2. Monthly campers R2 935 per calendar month (prepaid power). Pitches are paved with power point, water point and own bin/braai on each pitch. Weekly laundry service is also available on Thursdays. Once a month a delicious joint meal is provided free of charge by Amigos at the hall. Here strangers become friends/family (Remember: A friend is a stranger you do not know yet). Mondays (Jukskei) and Wednesdays (Graspyle) are game days and everyone is welcome! Furthermore, the campers arrange informal fishing competitions, pool, table tennis and darts competitions among themselves for those interested.
3. Chalets are fully equipped – only towels and dishcloths need to be brought with.
4. Chalets are fully serviced every day with washing dishes, making beds and cleaning the chalet
5. 13x16m lush green grass camping pitches with electricity and braai facilities by the water with private area for fishing (as well as 41 stands not by the dam). 36 stands (16x16m) on the waterfront without electricity
6. 16 Paved stands with power points, water point and own bin/braai on each stand
7. All stands are numbered
8. Very modern neat ablutions with gas geysers
9. Two family bathrooms – and it is also suitable for people with special needs
10. The entire Ablok road is concrete which makes it very accessible for wheelchairs
11. Children’s playgrounds
12. Children can bring their pedal bikes
13. Very large general store with fresh meat, fishing equipment, fire goods, groceries, ice cold drinks and liquor store and many more. We also have a large Camp Master section
14. Card facilities available in the office as well as in the shop
15. Security – all the fences around the resort on the A and B and D Blocks are electrified
16. Gate controllers
17. Indoor electric heated swimming pool – available mid August to mid May annually
18. 8m high Slide and outdoor pool

The following are things that people usually bring with to make their stay more enjoyable:

Toeklap rooster – however there is a patio braai/grid and outdoor braai and grid
Please note we have no pots or frying pans that can be used outside on the fire – if you need something like this you must provide your own (please don’t use ours it will cause damage)
We are very proud of what we offer in the chalets. We ask that you please respect it and use the pots and utensils and bedding etc with care so that on your next visit you can enjoy it neatly again.
No smoking in chalets
Arrival time: after 2pm
Departure time: before 10am
Absolutely no pets allowed in the chalets. Also if it is a combination booking (chalet with camping No doggies (No exceptions)
No extra people allowed in the chalets. Only the persons as booked for will be allowed. This includes babies up to adults.
Chalet 1-5 is 5 persons max. of which 1 person must be younger than 14 years (infants up to adults are considered persons)
Chalet 6 is 2 persons max. (infants up to adults are considered persons)

Rules around small doggies.
Only one small doggy of a small breed is allowed per camping site (absolutely no pets in the chalets or bookings linked with chalets – If you have friends or family booked in chalets this will be considered a link booking with a chalet)
The pet must stay at your site at all times and not visit other campers.
You may of course go for a walk with him on a leash and then please also pick up his/her droppings.
No doggies allowed in the office / shop/ ablutions / swimming pools / recreation hall
**NO DOGS ALLOWED WITH DAY VISITORS
Lap dog:
A lap dog or lapdog is a dog that is both small enough to be held in the arms or lie comfortably on a person’s lap and temperamentally predisposed to doing so. Lapdog is not a specific breed, but a generic term for a type of dog that is small in size and friendly towards humans
1 small doggy is R30 per night

Good day Motorboats/Jet-ski’s must be accompanied with the needed legal documents and licenses. All documents must be shown at the office at the time of arrival. No boats will be allowed onto the water if these documents were not shown at the office.

Please bring your own fenders and ropes for docking. There are specific Camping spots suitable for boats and your preference must be mentioned when making a reservation.
