Practice Makes Perfect
I decided to head out on Saturday morning for a little practice session at a private dam near my home in Brandfort. The weather was calm, the air fresh, and I was eager to test a few combinations before the next competition.

At first, things didn’t look promising — the carp were wild in the shallows, clearly in spawning mode. I thought to myself, “This is going to be a tough one.” But to my surprise, the fish were still feeding actively, and it turned into a session full of excitement!

I fished one rod at 75 m and left the other one closer in with an open spool. On the 75 m rod, I kept experimenting, adding a touch of sweet white dough here and there — and that turned out to be the magic move of the day.
The Barbie Doll Muti and DCX Ball Dip combo worked incredibly well, helping me land 26 carp in total!

My feed was mixed with BGA Feed Booster, and all my hookbaits were backed with Plain White Sweet Dough, using Wizard Quick Set Hooks No. 2.
Rod 1:
🎯 Top Hook: Banana X Bleeding Floaties + Sweet White Dough
🎯 Bottom Hook: Vampire Bleeding Floaties + Sweet White Dough
🎯 Bol: Barbie Doll Muti & DCX Ball Dip

Rod 2:
🎯 Top Hook: Caramel X Bleeding Floaties
🎯 Bottom Hook: Geebee Soft Floaties

What a fantastic day out — 26 carp and non-stop fun.

A big thank-you once again to Magic Baits for their top-class products.
