Night & Day on the Bank at Randwater
Winnie Dreyer
At the recent RandWater Day & Night Competition, I had the privilege of putting my Magic Baits combinations to the test.

Over the two days of fishing, I managed to land an impressive 25 fish. Although the fish were not weighed, the action on the bank was constant and incredibly rewarding.

My Winning Magic Baits Combinations
Rod 1: Each hook was baited up with Plain White Small Floaties, paired with Plain White Sweet Dough. I dipped this setup in DCX Muti and added Boorgat Boldip onto the feed ball.

Rod 2: Here, I used Monster Carp Small Hard Floaties on each hook, combined with Plain White Sweet Dough. On the feed ball, I boosted attraction with Grobbies Boldip.

Feeding & Setup
For my feed, I relied on Magic Baits HeavyWeight Feed, which I boosted with Supernova Liquid Carp Feed Food Booster for extra pulling power.

My rigs were built with Wizard Quick-Set Hooks (Size 2) and secured with Wizard Gummy Medium Stops – a reliable setup that gave me confidence throughout the competition.

The combination of powerful feed, boosted attraction, and proven Magic Baits hookbaits made all the difference.

The result was a busy session with 25 carp on the mat – a great reminder of the consistency and effectiveness of Magic Baits.
