Bellamy Resort: Where the Water Meets Tranquility
Tom Pandaram
Venue: Bellamy Resort, Hartebeespoort Dam
Event: Heritage Day with my wife
This was my first time fishing at this part of Harties, and Bellamy Resort truly surprised me.

Nestled on the banks of Hartebeespoort Dam, it’s a peaceful and tranquil spot, perfect for a Heritage Day getaway.

The venue filled up later in the day, but it remained clean and well-kept throughout, with even the toilet facilities in excellent condition.

The water level at Harties has dropped noticeably. Although the water is still cold, it’s slowly starting to warm up.

The carp are showing signs of spawning with plenty of activity close to the shoreline, while the barbel are still a little sluggish on the bite.

My setups:
Rod 1: White Warrior Small Bleeding Floaties and Foxtrot Small Bleeding Floaties, paired with Bluegum Chooby on both hooks.

I dipped it in the new Creamy Malt HEP (Hookbait Enhancing Powder), with SloLeak Alaskan Salmon on the bol.

Rod 2: Vampire Small Bleeding Floaties and Banana X Small Bleeding Floaties, with GTA Chooby backing on the top hook.

The hookbait was coated in the new Curry HEP (Hookbait Enhancing Powder), combined with Creamy Mushroom & Garlic SloLeak on the bol.

It turned into a magical Heritage Day session—peaceful, productive, and memorable. With full confidence in our HEP Powders and SloLeak Magic Potion range, I can honestly say: the Magic is in the Baits.
